Chairman's Report
The TTUStees m¢t 3 times during 2023 to hear and r¢vi¢w upjates from the wo￿lnE group comprising ofJam¢s. Gr&h&m
and Val who manage the day to day njnning of the charity.
We added a gri)und floor maisonette to our portfolio of almshouses and housed & couple who are on low incomes and
therefore me¢t our beneficiary requirements. We plan to purch￿ more properties in 2024.
One resident moved OUL and in April we wel¢omed a local lady who was in need of somewhere to live.
Flnan¢e
The finances ofth¢ charity remain healthy with excess inoom¢ overeXpenditure￿maining constantcompared to previous
years. We now annually review the weekly maintenance contributions of the residents and the increas¢ is based on the
PPI. The rnaintenance expenditure includes EK)iler services, now boilerand redecoration ofonealmshouse before the new
resident moved in.

Reserves Policy
Subj¢¢t to everyday r¢quirements all monies held atthe bankare available for charitsble purposes in accordance with the
objects and policies of the charity. The Trustees will ensure that reserves are mainlain¢d so a5 notto stretch the charitys
resources Ixyond an acceptable level.
Conclusion
The Trust¢¢s ¢ontinu¢d to maintain the nine properties in a good and saf¢ condition. The aim is to purchase another
Almshouse (bungalow) as soon as financially viable.

The charity's Trnstees are responsible for the pr¢paration of the accounts in aw)rdance with the Charilies Act 2011. The
Trustees consider that an audit is not required forihis year under Section 14412) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act)
