**Objects:** THE PROMOTION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC OF THE STUDY OF THE MOLLUSCA IN ITS WIDEST ASPECTS.

**Activities:** Undertakes and sponsors environmental research on mollusc related subjects. Publishes results in "Journal Of Conchology" or in the society's magazine "Mollusc World". The journal is the world's oldest continuing publication on the subject. Published twice a year, it contains scientific papers and short communications on molluscs with the emphasis on  conservation, biogeography and taxonomy
