The work of the Trtsst Is to oversee the maSntenance and use of Antrobus Hovse. whlth wa5 commi551or6ed by Lady

x) they would have a special pface in wh￿h to hold meetlng5. lectures, partles. and communsty gatherings.
Our amazlThg Manager, Cathertne Dunning. and her t&am of 4 part-lime ca￿tskers, work hard to make Sure the
bulldlng and grounds are in tip top condltlon at all tlmes. and, after discussio# with each hirèr, they set up the venue
as ￿qUoSted. A mernber of staff Is on hand at all times to help with any last mlnutes than¥es or quèrit5 and thls
means 8 5tress-free tlme for anyone hiring Antrobus House. We could not opeiate so well wtthout thelr hard work
and dedi¢atfon
Many local groups and organlsations use Antiobvs House on a fegular bast5. These include 8roups such as Tae Kwon
, children's balltt, pllates, fftness for mèture people and yoÉa. We have 4 separate yoga cLasses and until recent
one speclal class for pregnant mums. Local or8anlsations 5ncludln8 the Frtendly Tuesday aub, Amesbury Evening
Wl. Amesbury History Society and the Medal A5s0clatbDn also hold meetirqs on a weekly or monthly basls.
8esides these re8ular bookin8s, we have hosted numerous local tharlty and mmmuTrity events throughout the year,
includin8 some organlsed in assoaation Trwfth the outgoirg Mayor Of Amesbury.
In November 2023 Antrobus House was a8ain chosen a5 the startlng point for the Remembiance Day Parade and
460 people of all age5 took part in the march from the House to the War Memorial near St Mary & St Melor ch¥rch
where the se￿te of Remembrance was held.
Antrobu5 House was used as • Pollln8 Ststbn for the 2023 Ttjwn Councll By-ElectloAs and for the more recent Police
and Crime commlssioner electlon. The out-¥olng Mayor of Amesbury chose the House for her Mayor Makin8
Celebr•tlon and the A￿a Board have also held thelr meetings there.
In the summer of last year three local secondary schools a8aln chose Antrobus House as thelr Proms Vtnut and •
nearby Prlmary School held ts Leavlng As5emblylor Year S students In the Edmund Hall.
We have hosted rnary famlly partles, numerou5 weddlngs & weddlng reeeptlons and also a small number of funeral

Local businesses and Organisat￿n$ have botsked Antrobus House for meetinas & trainln8 days - they speak of
excdlent fxilitie5, helpfvl staff and good parking. Many have returntd tlme and agaln durlng th* year.
In May 2023 we sald a Sad pcdbye to the Hauntiw- that Is the 6 metre hlgh statue of a WWI soldler whlch had
Iraced our front lawns for the wevlous 9 months. The statue drew a lot of Interest from far and wide and we
welcomed many new vlsitors to th& Hou$e. Local school ¢hlldren especial￿ enjoyed their vlsits. We continue with
our plans to have our own ststue on the front lawns- but h wlll be nowhere ne4ras big.
The Houso was offered as a "Warm Space" on Tuesday aftèmc*Jns for anyone wantln8 companlon5hlp. The Broup
has contlnued to meet and rè-named Itself Tea and Chat. They spearheaded the production of a display made up
from over two thousand knltted and crocheted poppie5 which adorned the 8ate and front railin8s of Antrobus House
forArmi5tlce Day.
In May last year 70 people enjoyed an Indoor 5treEt party in the Edrnund Hall to celebrate Klng Charles Ill's
coronation. The decls6on to hold thi5 celebratKJn inside. rather thaft outside on the rear lawns, was made because in
previous years similar events had to be stopped haK way throu8h due to torrentlal ialn and we d￿r￿'t want to have
the day spolled yet a84in.
