Auditors. responsibilitie5 for the audit of the financial statements
We have been appoinled as auditor under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 and report in accordance with

Our objectives are to obtain reasonable assurance atrK>ut whether the financial statements as a whole are free

Because of the inherent limitations of an audit, the￿ is 8 nsk Ih8t we will not detect all irregularities, including
those leading to a material misstatement in the financial statements or non-¢omplian¢e with regLJlation. This risk
increasès the more ihat compliance wilh a law or regulation is removed from the events and transactions
reflected in the financial statements, as we will be less likely lo become aware of instances of non-compliance.
The risk Is also greater regarding irregul8rilie5 o¢¢urring due lo fraud rather than error. as fraud involves
intentional Concealment. forgery, collusion, omission or misr8presentatKJn.
As part of an audil in accordance with ISAS {UKI. we exerase professional judgment and maintain professional
sceplicism throughout the audit. We also=
Idents'fy and assess the risks of malerial missiatement of the financial statements, whether due to fraud or
error, design and perfom audit pro¢edures responsive to those risks, and obtain audit eviden¢e that is
sufficient and appropriate to provide a basis for our opinKJn. The risk of not detecting a material
misstatement resulting from fraud is higher than for one resulting from error, as fraud may involv8
collusion, forgery, intentional omissions. misrepresentations. or the override of inlemal control.
Obtsin an understanding of intemal control ￿levant to the audit in order to design audit procedures that
are appropriate in the circumstances. but not for Ihe purpose of expressing an opinion of the effectiveness

Evaluate the appropriateness of accounting policves used and the reasonableness of accounting
