(2) TO MAINTAIN THE ALMSHOUSE AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS. (3) TO MAKE PAYMENTS TO THE SAID TRUSTEES OF ST CLEMENT DANES SCHOOL. (4) THE GENERAL RELIEF OF PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER AND FORMER RESIDENTS OF THE ALMSHOUSES WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY OR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES CALCULATED TO REDUCE THE NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS OF SUCH PERSONS.
