Objectives aRd ActTrities
The pri￿CTpal objects of ihe trust are th¢ preseryation and impmement of churche5 BUckinghan￿1re. The
objects are achieved by rnakino available forthe PUTFA)se of such prEseTvation and ttnprovemenL
Grants are fiEnded from the net income and reserves of the trust. The trust is reliant on income frorn investments
and various fiJnd-raisin(r eyents including fund% raised by the Friends.

Governance
Durin. the year the twstees institrated a review iDto the relevant p)licies and procedures within the TTh￿t. They
have also cot)sidered the need to identify and eng4<Te WTth indivÈdllals who have the ch&acteristlCs and skills
that ivould he]p progrcss and develop the work of the TTUSt and who might ￿ thillinrs to 5¢rve as trusÉees. This
work is ongoing.

F'or fftany year5 ihe Irust has uiiiised the seTh'ices of Community Imp&{ Bucks (CIB) to provide treasury,

Grant Application Procedures
A review of the grant application PTrtes5 has Efen undertaken and implemented so that more relevant
inforniaiion is obtained at the time of application and thaf ihe pr￿eSS ts more accessibl¢ (p¢ncrally.
Web Site
A cO￿prehensive review of the Trust web site has ken undertaken and variou5 ¢hanges and improvemenis
implemented.

available ￿¥nts of £500 to those churche5 who wished to insthll ￿arnI svstems to deter the theft of roor￿g
materials. Such wts weye in additioll to similar ￿allts made from funds made available to the trust by
the Allchurch¢s trnsl (see below)
During the year, the trust mad¢ 6 grants to a total Val￿ of £25.(KK) of which 5 were main.tsrdnts to a value of

The fact ihat anwnber of church projects were delayed as a of the pandemic resulted in a reduced number
of wt applications . In accordance with the norn]al practice olthe TnLSt 8ny SUFplus in OP¢Tational income iyill
be used to bo15t¢r the fimds availabl¢ for grants during 20?I_?-
Involvement i¥ith the national"Ride & Stride- event raised a net figure of £1 I,(KJ7 which was a further
reduction from the wevious Vear and reflects the con¢erns th?ut the future support for this ¢vent.
The Summer reception raised £8,466 n¢L
Income from investments amounted to £il087 (£35.J33 in 2021)
The Friends collect subscriptions from memttts and rnise money through (Irganised ¢vents' (ther donations are
accepted from individuals and thurthes to fiuther the work ofthe I'rust. (iift aid on subscriptions and donations
TS claimed by and paid directly to the Trnst. A report froln the t￿￿teeS of the"'Friends" appears at the end of this
report.
Financial RevieTV
During the }'eaT the trjst had a surplus of income over exrthdltU￿ in unr¢stri¢t¢d funds of £33.092.
The value of in¥¢strrLents increased bi" £14,975 so that wJre*rirted futtds rose to £97J,J27.
Ro%iricted Funds (Allchurches Tn]5t) stood at £40,748.
The Friends had an excess of ¢xp¢ndTtLwe over inc<Mne of £105. Th¢ Friends funas ￿{M)d at £ 5.761at tbe year-
end {£5.657 in 2021}.

Rtserves Policv
The trustees seek to maintsin the level of reserves at such a level as to geDeTrte sufficient income to maintain
their wt making at a level tbat will provide mvdllin.tsful sllppon to church restoration projects. As far as is
possibl¢ all surplus income is used to fund grant ￿al"In0 in the saffte financ3￿ ve￿.
Ilowever. the trustee5 will consider mth.ntt usÉng funds froTn reserves where the applit*ion is regarded
of being of exceptional merit or urtsenc}'.
The policy is Subject to annual review.
