been no significant effects in 2020 which have had ￿ imp*t on financial wfonnance. The Charity's main fundrwsing
event was held in 2020 41beit without ticket sales but ovmll generdted substantial funds. It i5 anticipated that th¢ 2021
perfonnan¢e will go ahead as in previous yea
Th¢ Iixkdown has prevented the Charity from raking any new admissions at its home, Brinsworth Hous¢. but it is
anticipated that this restriction will be withdrawn in 2021 Tesultin8 in ￿ increase in oc¢upancy levels for the r¢moind
of th¢ year.
The Charity saw an initial redudion in the va]uation of investments held in its investment portfolio in 2020 but
r¢cov¢ry was made ￿rore the Ye￿ ¢nd No wtrealised gains or losw are i¥Jdgeted tn 2021 and th¢ TTUStees do not fttl
this will have a materlal imp¥t as the intention is not to liquidate investments.

Charity's work. particularly on their social channels.

We are pleased to rew that a new five-year contrath has been enter￿ into with ITV from 2021 UDtiI 2025. On a side
note, Britain's Got TalenL produced by Thames (a division of Fr¢mantle UK) and Sim¢)n Cowell's Syco Entertainmen(
continues to return excellent ratings and has extended its contraa with ITV for a fufther five ye4rs until 2024. However,
the 2021 (BGT XV) h&$ been postponed fora year due pgnd¢mi¢.
As part of the Charity's fundamental straiegy. the Trnstees have reviewed the IxKigets for 2021 and 2022 and are Satisf￿d
that it is appropriate to prepare the fmancial sta*M￿ts on a'going-¢(xKern' bosis.
The Trustees have reviewed the impxl of the Covid 19 vinjs on the operations of th¢ Charity and continu¢ to monitor
developments on a daily basis. They believe that any additional costs will t* off-sd by th¢ Infeclion Control Fund grant
it receives from the local authority. In aldition. plans are bein8 made to hold our main fundrnisin8 evenL the Royal
Variety P¢rfoTnwice. towards the end of the year when it is antictpated that such events are Fmitted.
The two investment properties were sold durin8 the year rdising £848.516 in cosh. to f￿￿ Fkn&s¢ l of the
