increase in owners needing to rehome their pels due to hKJher costs assocFated wi¢h of ￿￿Ing and Caring for 8

At Mount Noddy Atknial Centre we res(￿, rehabiblale. and reh0n￿ cgts and dogs. We are a fear-1￿ ¢ert4fied
animal shelter, all our animal ￿Te team arnl 8UPWt staff are lear frBe c8rfiffi￿I meaning they a￿ educated to
reduce fear and anxiety for the anlmals and avoid any which may cause undue stress. We are
committed to usiro posillvg. up to date ethical tra￿1￿j method&
At Ihe beginning of 2023. we W 79 8nimas in our care and during Ihe year, ti)ok in 381 animals (62 (J(￿5 and
319 cats) compared to 361 animals in 2022.155 dogs and 306 cats). Durlng 2023. 348 animals We￿ adopted,
8 transferred out to other centres for 8thpb.t￿, 14 were reunited with Ihpir owners, 5 and sadly 35114 dogs
and 21 cots) were euthanysed due to poor health aThJ on the recoMn￿dati0n of our vets. Many animals come
into our caro in a very p￿r health CoThJiti￿ after year5 of neglect and or atxjse. Anwnal Welfa￿ is thays at the

8bscess on his tsce that was rer￿ved. and ￿ started him on antitxotics. He was a ¥ery sweet boy who lucknly

a full ￿rXi¥ery as he strrted to feel better. he became fntslrated bang in his cat pen. To keep mentally
