LHTBI provides financial assistance to persons who are or have been, employed in the leather industry and who are aged or incapacitated from earning a livelihood. Bereaved spouses are also eligible to apply. Typically applicants should have spent a minimum of ten years service in the leather industry.
Objects: The Object Of The Institution Shall Be The Relief Of Necessitouse Persons Who Are Engaged In The Leather Industry Who Are Aged Or Incapacitated From Earning A Livelihood, And The Bereaved Spouse, Adult Dependants And Orphans Of Any Such Person.
