Wills & Stickland Homes is a Charity that has 14 bungalows, 4 one bed bungalows and 10 two-bedroom bungalows. The bungalows are rented at a reasonable price and a warden lives in one of the bungalows and is on call if any of the residents are taken ill during the night to contact the emergency services.
The rent that the residents pay, covers all repairs, and miscellaneous expenses.
The bungalows are let to people aged 60 years and over, who are capable of looking after themselves.
There has been significant expenditure during the year with a planned programme of improvement works being carried on next year. Any balance after all expenditure is paid into the bank account, which is a safety balance to support any the ongoing repairs and maintenance.
There have been some changes in the Trustee group this year with the appointment of a new Chairperson and a new Trustee. The Trustees are: Mr Steven Hargreaves (Chairperson), Guy Summers, Mr Iain Major, Mrs Liz Beckerlegge, Mr Alan Singleton and Mrs Sonia Eggleston. The Warden and Clerk are unchanged.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/03/2020.
Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
