WILLS & STICKLAND HOMES

Charity No. 205485

Trustees Report for year ending 31[st] March 2021

Wills & Stickland Homes is a Charity that has 14 bungalows. These bungalows are let to people aged 60 years and over, who are capable of looking after themselves. There are four one bed bungalows and 10 two-bedroom bungalows. The bungalows are rented at a reasonable price and a warden lives in one of the bungalows and is on call if any of the residents are taken ill during the night to contact the emergency services.

The rent that the residents pay, covers all repairs, and miscellaneous expenses. In addition to general day to day property maintenance and repairs. There has been significant expenditure during the year with a planned programme of improvement works being carried on next year.

Any balance after all expenditure is paid into the bank account, which is a safety balance to support any the ongoing repairs and maintenance.

There have been some changes in the Trustee group this year with the appointment of a new Chairperson and a new Trustee. The Trustees are: Mr Steven Hargreaves (Chairperson), Guy Summers, Mr Iain Major, Mrs Liz Beckerlegge, Mrs Jenny Skellet and Mr Alan Singleton. The Warden and Clerk are unchanged.
