The Charity is administered by a Board of Trustees, as follows:-

The Board of Trustees meets as a minimum, four times a year and are responsible for the strategic aims of the trust, sets the weekly maintenance charge and has overall responsibility for the finances. 

## **Aims** 

To provide Almshouse accommodation for 10 persons of good character who have lived in Bisham, Great Marlow, Marlow Bottom or Marlow Parishes for five years (or have immediate family living in the said parishes) and are aged 60 or over. To maintain the fabric of the building and environs for the residents. 

The accommodation offered is a bed-sitting room with kitchen and toilet. There is a bathroom and separate shower room on each of the two floors, a communal lounge and kitchen with laundry facilities. 

## **Achievements:** 

The board have refurbished various common parts of the building including the creation of a drying room. The gardens around the property have been improved for the enjoyment of residents and a further flat has been refurbished to include a shower within the residents own unit. Plans and funding options continue to be considered  to  convert  some  of  the  current,  vacant,  bedsitting  rooms  into  selfcontained one bedroom flats. 

All general maintenance and repair work has been completed as planned during the year.

As the charity's truslees you are responsible for the preparatlon of the accounts You as the charlty's
trustees conslder that an audit Is not requlred lor the year under sectlon 144(2) of the Charitles
Act 2011 but that an Independent examinatlon Is needed under seclon 145(1) ol the 2011 Act.

Basls of Independent Examlners Report
My examlnatlon was carrled out In accordance with the General Dlrections glven by the Charlty
Cornmlssloners. An examlnatlon Includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charlty and
a comparlson of the accounts presented wlth those records It also Includes conslderation of any
unusual Item5 of di5closure5 In the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees
conceinlng any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evldence
that would be requlred In an audit, and consequently no oplnlon is given as to whether the
accounts present a "true and falr. vlew and the report Is Ilmited lo those matters set out In the
statement below.
Independent Examiners Statement
In connection with my examlnatlon, no matter has come to my attentlon.,
(l) Whlch gives me reasonable cause to believe that In any material respect the requlrernents
(a) to keep accountin8 records In accordance with Section 130 of the 2011 Act, and
(b) to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and to comply
with the accounting requirement of the 2011 Act have not been met. or
12) to whlch, In my opinion, attentlon should be drawn in order to enable a proper
understandln8 of the accounts to be reached.
