**Objects:** A) TO ENCOURAGE HIGH STANDARDS OF ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN, ARCHITECTURE AND TOWN PLANNING IN THE CITY OF TRURO. B) TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND STIMULATE PUBLIC INTEREST IN AND CARE FOR THE BEAUTY, HISTORY AND CHARACTER OF THE CITY AND ITS SURROUNDINGS. C) TO ENCOURAGE THE PRESERVATION, DEVELOPMENT, IMPROVEMENT AND BEAUTIFICATION OF FEATURE OF GENERAL PUBLIC AMENITY OR HISTORIC INTEREST.D) TO CONSIDER FACTORS THAT COULD HAVE AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ON THE CITY.

**Activities:** To promote and encourage high standards of achitecture, town planning, and environmental care;to preserve, improve, and develop features of historic interest; to educate and stimulate public interest and to act as a co-ordinating body with other societies having similar aims in the City of Truro and its surroundings.
