The charity's principal sources of funds are from hire charges and an
annual donation from the Parish Council. This year we were successful in
grant funding from South Cambridgeshire District Council and Swavesey
Parish Council. This money enabled the project to be completed.

The Management Committee has worked hard to provide a facility

year and Memorial Hall Garden to commemorate Worfd War 1

The Memorial Hall still relies upon finan￿al assistance from the Parish
Council to help provide funds for Maintenan￿ and refurbishment work.
Any reserves achieved are spent back on the maintenance and
refurbishment of the hall.

Ob"ectives and activities
To provide and manage the Memorial Hall, Swavesey, as a village hall
amenity, available to all residents of the village as V￿11 as any other local
persons who may wish to use the hall.

Trustee selection methods
During 2008109 Swavesey Parish Council was the only Corporate Trustee
of the Charity. Negotiations were completed with the Charity Commission
during 2009 to provide a new Goveming Document and move to a Hall
Management Board of Trustees, elected annually, with the Parish Council
becoming the Custodian Trustee. The New Governing Document and a
full Management Commtttee of elected Trustees took over responsibility
for the hall on 1•t A

From 1° April 2009, Ele(aed Management Trustees are responsible for the
management of the Memorial Hall. Swavesey Parish Council now only
