The trustees are re-appointed annually at the Annual Generd M¢¢ting. The existing trustees ar¢ ffsporL5ible
for appointing new tnisiees. Great ¢are is exercised to ensure that all trus*es have the n¢￿Ssary skills and
expertise to be able to ¢aTry out their duties.
The object of the Associatton is to &ssist in relieving in case of need those residents of the Royal Borough of
Kingston up)n ThAmes who ar¢ SICK ¢ottvalescenL disabled. handicapp¢d or infirni. The Trustees have
carefully considered and 4r¢ abl¢ to ¢onfirni the adequacy of th¢ ¢haritys assets to fijlfil it's fuwr¢
obligationy.
The A$so¢ialion inviies loca] organisations whose work exact]y fits one or more of the criteria of the Charity,
as set out in its objects, to submit forn)al applieatiofts for financial support. All appli￿lts are expected
give full detsils of the requirement backed up where appropriate with quotations. An up to date set of
accounts is also required. All such appltcations are considered by the trust¢¢5 and decision8 made as to
whether to award a grant and the amount.
Th¢ attached financial statements have been prepa￿d under the historical cost convention and ift accordance
with applicable accounting standards and th¢ new 51atement of recommended pra¢ti¢e "Accounting by
Charities,. Income is ¢￿dited to the firwcial 5ts1ements when receivable.
During the year the received investment and other income of £43.925 ag sknwn in the attached
ststements. As a result the Charity has been able to make grnnts of £48209 to twenty one organisations..
On 31 Decefflber 2025 the market value of th¢ inveskn¢nts was £1 J69,631.
As all income is to be distributed the reserve wli¢y is io retain 5uificient funds to deal with any applicalions
for which further inforn)ation h&8 been soughl or those which are urgent and submitted before the usll￿ time.
