for appointing new irusi¢¢s. Greai care is exercis￿ io ¢nsure that all t￿￿te￿ have the ftece￿ary skills and
expertise to be able to ¢aTry Out their duties.
The object of ihe Association is to &gsi$t in relieving in c&8e Orne￿ those residents of the Royal Borough of
Kin8Ston u￿n Thames who are sick, ¢onvalescent. disabled. handiwJp&J or infim). The Tn￿leeS have
carefully considered and are able to confirrn the adequacy of ihe ¢harity'$ assets to fvlfil ivs future
obligations.
The Association invites local organisations whose work exactly fits one or more of th¢ crileria of the Charity,
as set out in its nbjects, to submit formal applications for financial SUPFKIrt. All applÉ¢ants are expected to
give full details of the requirement b￿ked up where appropriate with quotations. An up lo date sel of
a¢counts is also required. All such applications are considered by the In￿leeS and de¢ision5 made L8 to
whether to award a grant and ihe amounL
The Rttached financial stktements have been prep8r¢d under the historical cosi ¢onvention and in ac¢ordance
with oppli¢able accounling standards and the new 8tstement of recomm¢nded practice "Accounting by
Charities" Income is ¢￿dited to the financial slatements when r¢ceiv8ble.
During the year the trustees received investment 2nd other tn¢ome of£40.539 as showi) in the attached
statements. As a result th¢ charity has able lo make grants of £36.929 to tweniy two organisations..
On 31 December 202) th¢ market value of the investments was £1.198.190.
