Annual Report of the Quadrant Trustees year ending 31st March 2025

The Trustees continue to meet three times a year to work with the Clerk on the care of eight almshouses. Four on the first floor and four on the ground floor. There is a communal garden.

There is no communal room or warden.

The residents pay a weekly maintenance contribution which includes their water and sewerage.

They pay for the night storage heating and domestic electricity together with council tax.

The Trust has a resident plumber and electrician who are called upon for any repairs. The Trust employs a maintenance person as well as window cleaners, grass maintenance and a gardener.

Three of the almshouses have stair lifts and these are maintained at regular intervals.
