Branch (248191)- and "The Non-Ecclesiastical Branch (2481￿)- each have 5 Trustees. and the
-Estate Branch (202808)- consists of all 10 Trustees together and this Charity is resp)￿82b1¢ for
administration of the TnL8ts ass¢ts. It donates its entire income. I￿8 owating expenses to the
"Church Branch- and Tr Non-FKclesi&8ti¢al Branch- in the ratios of 4￿0 and 6(P/o
respectively.
The Estate Tntstees draw their main income from the rent ￿ee1Ved from letling Tr Royal
Stsg" public house in Datchet village. A 25 year lease with M and B has been in place since
September 2(K)l and following a rent review in 2017 the rentsl is DOW £75,(MX) p¢r annum. The
Royal Stsg was valued in 2022 at £l,l(x).(x)o.
As the head lease with M and B expires in Sept 2016 we have commenced preliminary
discussions with the present Sub T¢nant in wsition sin(Y 2015 aix)ut his longer terni aspirations
towards the Stsg. These discussions rA>ntinued in 2024 against a Ixckdrop of tightening
Our reletting advisor warns us the trust will be unlikely to secure a le&se with the s8me income
as the expiring one from M & B. M & B have declined to renew the lease as the Stsg no longer
fits their trading profile.
In addition the Estste owns SO￿hle8 Meth)w in DatcheL Berkshi￿ an area of appT(>xima*ty
2.3 acres. This land is in two Sectio￿9. A paddock of 0.3 acre4 and a second laT8er section of 2
acres. The totsl land was valued in 2015 at £71.500. Both pieces are let together to a local man
for £3(￿ ￿ year to sn￿1] market garden.
The Trust also owns t￿1 investments totslling £61,464 whi¢h are kept in fu￿¢181 reserve
should either of the main L8sets require major upkeep.
