Section D                      Achievements and performance 

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** 

Outbuilding roofs was completely replaced in July 2022, this is Collyweston slate and was replaced like for like this will preserve the life o the roof for many years to come.  A listed building application has been submitted for stonework repairs to all cottages and a decision remains pending for the Local Authority regarding this application 

33 Islington remains or the time being until such times the plan of work as detailed below in 2023/24 is carried out. 

Provision of accommodation within the village as set out in the Governing instrument criteria 

PROVIDING ACCOMMODATION TO NEEDY SPINISTERS AND WIDOWS WITHIN THE PARISH 

Ongoing review of condition of properties to ensure they remain at all times in a satisfactory condition for the benefit of the occupiers. The Trustees plan to appeal against the Listed Building Officers decision to refuse the application to replace the stairs at 33 to carry out alterations to the internal staircase on the grounds of H & S. Subject to the application being approved for the stonework repairs this is the next large project planned for Spring 2024, where all cottages will have stonework repairs to the front face of all cottages

If major expenses are anticipated the Trust Board receive an investment income of approximately £24K per annum with an annual rental income of approximately £33K per annum
