ended 31 December 2020. Thè financial statements comply with the Charities Act 2011 and Accounting and
Reporting by Charities.. Statement ol Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparin9 their financial
staternents in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standards applicable in the UK and Republic C>f Ireland IFRS
1021.
Structure, governance and management
Adderbury Feollee Chariiy is a ￿gIste￿d charity under the Charities Act and wa5 ￿gIstered by thè Charity
Commission on 22 December 1961 (Regislration Number 2009021.
The charity is administered by the Board of Trustees in accordance with ￿lS constitution. Twstees are appointed to
the board ba5pd on their local knowledge. good character and any other applicable skills they can provide. The

The Trustees have had regard to thè guidance published by the Charity Commissictn OA public benefit whe
preparing the report and consider that the public benefit criteria are satisfied by the charitable aims and objectives.
Risk Mana9emÈnt
The Trustees consider the significant risks which the charity rs exposed to and establish processes to address these.
Following thÈ land sale which occurred in the year, the main risk for the charity is corbsidered to be managing the
transition to an organi￿tIOn which can deal with much more significant amDUllts of money, ensuring they are
inve51ed gppropriately to preserve the charity for generations to come.
Objectives and activitles
The objective DI the charity Is (o distribute income fiom investment and land lo ecclesiastical, educational and
poverty a5SlStance gTOUPS in the parishes of Adderbury and Milton.
Achievements and PÈrfèrmanc•
The charity has contir)ued to) make the grants according to its constitulion, but this year had sufficient funds to
restoie the Christmas Allocation in both villages. The Investment alld Management ol our lundi ix currently under
review, the money is held iri accounts which yield an incorne that we are distributing according to our

help ensurè the charity can continue to meet its objectives in the future.

The trustees are responsible lor preparing the Report ol the Trustees and the financial statements in accordance
with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards (Uniled Kingdom G¢nerally Accepted Accounting
Practice). The law applicable to charities in England and Wales, the Charitie5 Act 2011, Chariiy IAccount5 and
Reports) Re9ulations 2008, ￿qUIre the trustees to prep4re financial statèments for each financial year whlch give a
true and fair view of the charity'5 financial activities during the year and its financial position at the end ol the year.
In preparing those financial 5tstements. the trustees are required to..
select suitable actounting policies and then apply them consistently,.
obserwe the methods and principles in the Charities SORP IFRS1021,'
make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent,.

I repon io the charity trustees on my exarnination of the financial statements of the Adderbury Feoffee Charity lor
the year ended 31 December 2020.
Responslbllitles and basls of report
The trusiees are responsible for the preparation of the financial statèment5 in accordance with the requirements ol
the Charities Aci 2011 (the 2011 Act). You are satisfied that the accounts of the charity are not required by charity
law to be audited and have chosen instead to have an independent examination.
I report in ￿sp￿t ol our examination of the Trustee's accounts. I have carried out my examination Ljnder Section
145 of the 2011 Act. In carrying out my exatllination I have followed the Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 14515llbl of the 2011 Act.
An independent examination does noi invglve gatheiing all the evidence ih4t would be required in an éudit and
congequenily dc*es not cover all the matters that an auditor considers in giving their opinion on the accounts. The
planning and conduct ol an audit goes beyond the limited assurance that an independent examination can provide.
Consequently l express no opinion as to whether the con501idated accounts present a 'true and lair, view and my
report is limited to those specific matters set out in the independent examinerfs ststement.

I.ACCOUmNG POLICIES
General Informatlon
Adderbury Feoffee Charity is a charity registered with the Charity Commission in England
and Wales (Charity no. 2009021. The registered public address is Fletchers High StreeL Adderbury,
8anbury, OX17 3L5, The nature of the charity's operations and activities are detailed in the Tru5tee'5
report.
Accounilng conventlon
The financial statements are prepared urmjer the historical cost convention, with the exception of
investments which are included at market value. The financial statement5 have been prepared in
accordance with Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Statement ol Recommended Piactice
applicable to charities preparing their financial statements in accordance with thè Financial
Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic ol Ire13nd IFRS 1021 (Charities SORP IFRS
1021, and the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021.
The financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis. The Irustees consider that
there are no material uncertainties about the charity's ability to continue as a going concern.

Fund ?¢¢gunting
Unrestricted fund5 are available lor use at the discretion of Ihe trustees in furtherance of the
objectives ol the charity and have nol been designated lor other purposes.
Restricted funds can only be used lor particular restricted purposes within the objective5 Qf the
charity. Any such income unexpended at the year-end is shown as a restricted fund in the balance
sheet.
Income
All income is included in the Ststement ol Financial Activities (SOFA) when the charity is legally
entilled to the income and the amount can be quantified with reasonable accuracy. No amounts
are includecs in the financial statements for setvices donated by volunteers.
Exp•ndlturn
All expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and has been classified under headings that
aggregate all c05ts related lo the category. Where costs cannot be directly attributed to particular
heading5 they have been allocated lo a(tivilies on a ba515 Cgn5151ent with use of the resources.
Grants and donations are made in order to pursue the objectives ol thè charity.
Investments
Inve5tment5 are stated al m8rket value on the balance sheet date. The SOFA inclvde5 the net gains
and10sse5 arising ftom revaluations at year end and disposa15 duiing the year.
