Activities
Richmond Volleyball is a community-focused Charitable Incorporated Organisation supporting around 200 young athletes across Kingston, Richmond and Teddington. We provide inclusive opportunities for beginners to discover volleyball and for developing players to progress towards competitive participation. We aim to compete successfully at the highest levels while maintaining grassroots volleyball.
Objects: ● To Promote Community Participation In Healthy Recreation By Providing Facilities And Opportunities For Playing Volleyball And Other Associated Activities.● To Advance The Education Of Young People And Adults In Richmond And Surrounding Areas Through The Provision Of Structured Volleyball Training, Coaching, And Competition That Fosters Physical, Mental, And Social Development.● To Provide And Assist In Providing Facilities For Volleyball And Related Recreational Activities For The Benefit Of The Community, In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For Those For Whom The Facilities Are Provided.● To Support And Develop Amateur Athletes, Particularly Young People, By Offering Pathways To Improve Skills, Engage In Team Activities, And Progress In The Sport Of Volleyball At Local, Regional, National And International Levels.● To Promote Equality, Inclusion, And Accessibility In Sport, Ensuring That Individuals From All Backgrounds, Abilities, And Ages Have The Opportunity To Engage In Volleyball-Related Activities.● The CIO Will Uphold Volleyball England?s Safeguarding And Welfare Standards And Maintain An Appropriate Duty Of Care For All Participants.
