Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:(1) To Advance The Religion Of Islam For The Public Benefit In Accordance With The Teachings Of The Qur’an And The Sunnah Of The Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), Including By: •Providing And Maintaining A Place Of Worship And Religious Observance Open To Members Of The Public; •Providing Religious Education, Guidance And General Support To Members Of The Public; •Organising Acts Of Worship And Religious Instruction; •Carrying Out Outreach Activities As An Outworking Of The Faith Including Interfaith Activities And Activities To Relieve The Needs Of The Elderly. (2) To Advance Education For The Public Benefit, In Particular But Not Exclusively Through: •The Provision Of Islamic Education Including Qur’anic Studies, Arabic Language Instruction And Islamic Theology And Ethics; •The Provision Of Language Classes For Children And Adults; •The Organisation Of Seminars, Lectures, Workshops And Educational Events; •The Provision Of Mentoring And Support For Young People (3)To Act As A Resource For Young People Up To The Age Of 25 Living In Gerrards Cross By Providing Advice And Assistance And Organising Programmes Of Physical, Educational And Other Activities As A Means Of: (A) Advancing In Life And Helping Young People By Developing Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Independent, Mature And Responsible Individuals; (B) Advancing Education; (C) Providing Recreational And Leisure Time Activity In The Interests Of Social Welfare For People Living In The Area Of Benefit Who Have Need By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disability, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances With A View To Improving The Conditions Of Life Of Such Persons.
