**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:(A) TO RELIEVE THE EMOTIONAL AND PRACTICAL NEEDS OF FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS BEREAVED BY, OR OTHERWISE AFFECTED BY, GROUP B STREPTOCOCCUS INFECTION IN BABIES AND INFANTS, IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF COMFORT AND MEMORY-MAKING ITEMS, BEREAVEMENT RESOURCES, INFORMATION, AND SUPPORT; AND(B) TO ADVANCE PUBLIC HEALTH AND EDUCATION BY RAISING AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING OF GROUP B STREPTOCOCCUS INFECTION IN BABIES AND INFANTS, INCLUDING ITS RISKS, PREVENTION, DETECTION AND TREATMENT.

**Activities:** We support families in England and Wales bereaved by, or affected by, Group B Strep infection in a baby, providing memory boxes, comfort items and information, reached via neonatal units, hospital bereavement teams or direct contact. We also raise awareness of Group B Strep among expectant parents, using published NHS and Group B Strep Support guidance.
