Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are To Make Grants And Provide Financial Assistance For The Following Charitable Purposes For The Public Benefit:- To Advance The Christian Religion By Facilitating The Practice, Understanding And Expression Of The Christian Faith Through Worship, Pastoral Care And Charitable Activities Grounded In Christian Teaching;- To Advance Education By Supporting English Universities In England And Providers Of Higher Education, Including Through The Provision Of Bursaries, Scholarships, Research Funding, And By Promoting The Education And Training Of Young People In Practical Skills, Vocational And Life Skills;- To Prevent Or Relieve Poverty, Financial Hardship By Providing Grants, Items, Services Or Other Assistance To Individuals And Families In Need;- To Relieve Those In Need By Reason Of Youth, Age, Ill-Health, Disability Or Other Disadvantage By Providing Grants, Items, Services Or Other Assistance To Such Individuals And Their Families.- To Relieve Sickness And Preserve And Protect Health By Providing Financial Assistance, Grants Or Other Support To Individuals Suffering From Illness, Injury, Disability Or Other Medical Conditions And By Supporting Organisations And Initiatives Engaged In The Provision Of Healthcare, Medical Treatment, Medical Research Or Health Education;- To Promote, Preserve, Protect, Enhance And Restore For The Benefit Of The Public The Architectural, Historical, Cultural And Environmental Heritage Of England And Wales, Including By Supporting The Conservation, Maintenance, Restoration And Educational Interpretation Of Listed Buildings, Historic Churches, Monuments, Gardens, Parks, Landscapes And Other Heritage Assets Of Historical, Architectural Or Cultural Significance.- To Further Such Other Exclusively Charitable Purposes According To The Law Of England And Wales As The Trustees May From Time To Time Determine, Provided That Such Purposes Are Similar Or Ancillary To The Objects Set Out Above.
