Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are For The Public Benefit: To Advance Health And To Prevent Physical And Psychosocial Injury, In Particular (But Not Exclusively) Among Older People, By Reducing The Incidence Of Falls And Falls-Related Harm And By Promoting Healthy Ageing. In Furtherance Of This Object, The CIO May In Particular: A) Promote And Disseminate Evidence-Based Information, Education, And Initiatives Relating To The Prevention Of Falls And Falls-Related Harm And The Promotion Of Healthy Ageing; B) Support And Facilitate Coordination And Collaboration Between Health, Social Care, Voluntary, Community, And Other Relevant Stakeholders To Improve Falls Prevention And Falls-Related Harm Reduction Strategies; C) Provide Information, Advice, And Guidance To Policymakers, Practitioners, And The Public On Effective Measures To Reduce Falls And Falls-Related Harm, Including Measures That Optimise Mobility And Reduce Injury Risk; D) Advance Education And Research In Relation To Falls Prevention And Falls-Related Health Management, Including By Promoting Research, Innovation, And Data Sharing, And To Disseminate The Useful Results Of Such Research For The Public Benefit.
