**Objects:** 1) THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: THE RELIEF OF THE POOR AND NEEDY IN CHISLEHURST, ANY OTHER PART OF THE UNITED KINGDOM OR ELSEWHERE IN THE WORLD, OR SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSE AS THE MEMBERS OF THE CIO SHALL IN DULY CONSTITUTED MEETING DIRECT.2) NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008

**Activities:** We raise money which is donated to worthy causes local to Chislehurst and on occasion, elsewhere in the world. Our fund-raising is via events such as fireworks, a local fair and at Christmas, a Father Christmas with his sleigh touring the local streets. This provides service benefits to the community via a fireworks display, funfairs, stalls for families and the chance to meet Santa for all.
