**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AND DISABILITIES (SEND), AND THEIR FAMILIES, IN THE DENGIE PENINSULA AND SURROUNDING AREAS OF ESSEX BY:? PROVIDING INCLUSIVE RECREATIONAL, EDUCATIONAL AND COMMUNITY-BASED ACTIVITIES DESIGNED TO PROMOTE WELLBEING, SOCIAL INCLUSION, CONFIDENCE AND PARTICIPATION IN COMMUNITY LIFE; AND? PROVIDING INFORMATION, GUIDANCE AND PEER SUPPORT TO PARENTS AND CARERS TO ASSIST THEM IN SUPPORTING THEIR CHILDREN.

**Activities:** SEND in the Dengie supports families with children and young people with SEND across the Dengie and surrounding areas. We provide accessible activities, workshops, trips and community events for families, helping to reduce isolation, build confidence, make connections and access opportunities within their local community.
