Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:for The Public Benefit, To Relieve The Needs Of Children And Young People Resident In Merseyside With Special Educational Needs And Disabilities, Or Who Are In Care Or Are Care Leavers, Their Parents, Carers And Family Members, By The Provision Of Inclusive Services Such As:1.peer Support Sessions;2.educational Workshops And Training Sessions;3.sensory Play Activities;4.practical Advice And Signposting To Alternative Organisations Who Can Provide Additional Support To Families.for The Purposes Of These Objects Special Educational Needs And Disabilities (Send) Shall Have The Meaning Given By Applicable Legislation Including The Children And Families Act 2014. This Includes Children And Young People Who Have A Learning Difficulty Or Disability Which Calls For Special Educational Provision To Be Made For Them And/or Those Who Have A Disability That Has A Substantial And Long Term Effect On Their Ability To Carry Out Normal Day To Day Activities.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005] And [Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008].
