Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are To Advance The Hindu Faith For The Benefit Of The Public, In Particular By Advancing The Tamil Saivam Tradition In Yorkshire By:(a) Holding Daily Pooja (Worship), Meditation, And Other Religious Observances In Accordance With The Tamil Saivam Tradition;(b) Organising And Facilitating Public Celebrations Of Religious Festivals And Observances Within The Tamil Saivan And Wider Hindu Tradition;(c) Educating The Public About The Beliefs, Teachings And Practices Of The Tamil Saivan Tradition, Including The Role Of Yoga As A Spiritual Discipline Within Hindu Religious Practice;(d) Preserving, Sustaining And Advancing The Tamil Saivam Tradition, Including Through Teaching And Community Activities; And(e) Carrying Out Wider Outreach And Community Engagement Activities Including Cultural Events And Educational Programmes As An Expression Of The Tamil Saivan Tradition.in Furtherance Of These Objects, The CIO Will Establish And Maintain A Temple As A Place Of Public Worship And As A Centre For Activities To Be Carried Out In Furtherance Of The Above Objects.
