**Objects:** TO FURTHER THE PRESERVATION, CONSERVATION AND RESTORATION OF THE SANKEY CANAL, AND TO PROMOTE AND STIMULATE PUBLIC INTEREST IN, AND THE FULLEST APPROPRIATE USE BY THE PUBLIC OF, THE WHOLE CANAL AND ITS ENVIRONS.

**Activities:** To preserve and restore the Sankey Canal in the three boroughs of St. Helens, Warrington and Halton.  We operate task teams of volunteers to clear both the canal and its footpaths of litter and vegetation so that the public can have access. We promote knowledge of this important heritage asset and work with local authorities to repair and maintain the canal structure.
