Objects: To Encourage Public Appreciation And Understanding Of Brass Band Music, And To Stimulate Interest In The Art Of The Brass Band For The Benefit Of The Public Generally, Especially In The Locality Of Pontypridd, Bythe Presentation Of Concerts, Performances, And Other Activities During The Festival Period And At Such Other Times As The Committee Shall Determine,the Promotion Of Brass Music By Showcasing Bands Of All Standards And Abilities From The South Wales Area And Further Afield,encouraging People Of All Ages, Backgrounds And Cultures To Engage With Brass Band Music By Becoming A Player Or A Follower,encouraging Young Musicians To Participate By Providing An Environment Within Which To Perform Free From Judgment And Competition,providing Opportunities For Learning And Development Through Workshops.
