Activities
GABA Foundation supports children, young people, adults and families affected by trauma and life-changing events. We provide access to therapeutic and wellbeing support, create safe and positive experiences, and promote education and initiatives that improve safety and resilience. We primarily operate in Southport and the surrounding area, with support available more widely where appropriate.
Objects: To Advance In Life And Relieve The Needs Of Young People To Develop Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities Through:the Provision Of Emotional Support And Diversionary Activities To Manage And Process Emotional And Post Traumatic Experiences, Particularly After Knife Crime Incidents;the Provision Of Education Sessions In Schools And Youth Clubs To Equip Young People With First Aid Skills And Training In Trauma Response And Mental Health Support;the Provision Of Grants For Additional Support For The Purpose Of Delivering Information And Support Work Through School Partnerships In The Community.
