Objects: To Promote Human Rights Of LGBTQIA+ People And People Living With HIV, As Set Out In The Universal Declaration Of Human Rights And Subsequent United Nations Conventions And Declarations, The International Covenant On Economic, Social And Cultural Rights (Icescr) And The International Covenant On Civil And Political Rights, Throughout The World By All Or Any Of The Following Means: Relieving Need Among The Survivors Of Human Rights Abuse; Research Into Human Rights Issues Pertaining To LGBTQIA+ People And People Living With HIV; Providing Technical Advice To Government And Others On Human Rights Matters With A Particular Focus On LGBTQIA+ Individuals And People Living With HIV; Contributing To The Sound Administration Of Human Rights Law; Commenting On Proposed Human Rights Legislation Relating To LGBTQIA+ People And People Living With HIV; Raising Awareness Of Human Rights Issues Pertaining To LGBTQIA+ Individuals And People Living With Hiv;promoting Public Support For Human Rights; Promoting Respect For Human Rights Among Individuals And Corporations With A Particular Focus On The Human Rights Of LGBTQIA+ People And People Living With HIV; International Advocacy Of Human Rights For LGBTQIA+ Individuals And People Living With Hiv;eliminating Infringements Of Human Rights. In Furtherance Of These Objects But Not Otherwise, The Trustees Shall Have Power To Engage In Political Activity, Provided That The Trustees Are Satisfied That The Proposed Activities Will Further The Purposes Of The Charity To An Extent Justified By The Resources Committed, And The Activity Is Not The Dominant Means By Which The Charity Carries Out Its Objects.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005] And [Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008].
