FSC Unite provides free advice, information, practical support and signposting for people affected by sickle-cell disease and related conditions, including families and carers. It promotes awareness and understanding among the public and healthcare professionals, and supports access to appropriate health and community services.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are: To Relieve Sickness And To Preserve And Protect Good Health Among People Affected By Sickle-Cell Disease And Related Conditions, Their Families And Carers, In Particular By Providing Advice, Information And Practical Support, Promoting Understanding Among The Public And Healthcare Professionals, And Supporting Access To Appropriate Health And Community Services. Nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005] And [Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008].
