Objects: To Preserve, Conserve, Repair And Maintain For The Public Benefit The Historic Waterwheel At Galtons Mill, Belbroughton, Worcestershire, Together With Its Associated Watercourse, Hydrological Features, Historic Setting And Related Infrastructure, Whether Or Not Such Land, Structures Or Features Are Owned By The Cio.a) Undertake, Commission Or Support Works To The Watercourse, Leats, Ponds, Channels, Relief Streams, Landform And Drainage Systems Associated With The Historic Operation And Long-Term Preservation Of Thewaterwheel, Including Works On Land In Third-Party Ownership Where Necessary And By Agreement;b) Conserve And Enhance The Historic Landscape, Setting And Immediate Environs Of The Waterwheel Where This Contributes To Its Preservation, Understanding, Accessibility Or Safe Operation;c) Promote Public Education And Understanding Of The Waterwheel, Its History, Technology And Wider Historic Context, Including Through Interpretation, Events, Publications, Research And Educational Activities;d) Provide And Improve Access To The Waterwheel And Its Setting For The Public, Including Making Reasonable Provision For Inclusive And Accessible Access Where Practicable, Having Regard To Safety, Conservation And Site Constraints;e) Manage, Steward Or Hold Custodial Interests In Land, Structures Or Rights, Including By Lease, Licence Or Agreement, Where This Supports The Charitable Purposes;f) Generate And Apply Income In Furtherance Of The Charitable Objects, Including Through Grants, Donations, Fundraising Activities And Ancillary Activities Directly Connected With The Cio’s Purposes, Provided That All Such Income Is Applied Solely For The Charitable Purposes Of The CIO.
