Activities

Ready Nepal Foundation provides grants to its partner local organisation in Nepal aiming at supporting returnee migrant workers and vulnerable communities. Through vocational training, business grants, psychosocial support, financial literacy and reintegration assistance, we aim to break the cycle of migration and enable sustainable livelihoods so people can remain and thrive in Nepal.

Objects: 1. To Relieve Needs Of Communities In In Nepal Who Are Vulnerable To Disaster, Natural Hazards And Climate Related Risks Including Flooding, Landslides, Earthquakes, Fires And Drought By Improving Disaster Preparedness, Reducing Vulnerability To Such Hazards, And Supporting Appropriate Community-Based Mitigation Measures, Including By Funding Youth-Led Projects Which Further Those Aims.2. To Relieve The Needs Of Returnee Migrant Workers In Nepal Who Are In Need By Reason Of Poverty, Financial Hardship, Exploitation, Trauma, Mental Ill-Health, Unemployment, Social Vulnerability Or Reintegration Difficulties Arising From Overseas Labour Migration, In Particular But Not Exclusively By: A) Providing Or Funding Advice, Psychosocial Support, Financial Literacy Support, Vocational Training, Employment Support, Livelihood Support And Reintegration Support; B) Providing Or Funding Grants, Training, Mentoring, Equipment Or Other Practical Support Designed To Help Beneficiaries Generate A Sustainable Income And Become Self-Sufficient; And C) Providing Or Funding Such Other Charitable Assistance As The Charity Trustees Consider Appropriate To Relieve Those Needs.3. To Relieve The Needs Of People Who Are Preparing To Migrate Overseas From Nepal For Work Who Are In Need By Reason Of Poverty Or Financial Hardship, Primarily Through The Provision Of Funding For Advice And Guidance In Regard To Debt And Money Management And Financial Literacy.
