Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:for The Public Benefit, To Relieve The Needs Of Refugees, Asylum Seekers, Migrants And Others In Need By Reason Of Age, Ill Health, Financial Hardship, Unemployment, Homelessness Or Other Social And Economic Disadvantage In The UK Through The Provision Of Non-Legal Advice, Information, Signposting, Practical Support Services, And Other Charitable Support Activities, Excluding The Provision Of Regulated Immigration Advice, And In Such Other Charitable Ways As The Trustees May Determine.to Promote Social Inclusion For The Public Benefit Among Migrants, Refugees And Asylum Seekers Who Are Socially Excluded On The Grounds Of Their Social And Economic Position In The UK By Providing:• Social And Recreational Facilities And Events Involving The Local Community; • Practical Support Services And Related Activities To Assist Individuals In Adapting To A New Community, Including Signposting And Referral To Appropriate Statutory, Voluntary And Regulated Service Providers;• Workshops And Training On A Range Of Topics Designed To Develop Skills, Increase Independence, And Improve Understanding Of How To Access Essential Services; • Such Other Charitable Activities As The Trustees May Determine.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005] And [Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008].
