Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:(a) To Promote The Conservation, Protection And Improvement Of The Natural Environment And The Prudent Use Of Natural Resources For The Public Benefit In Chesterfield And The Surrounding Area, Including By Raising Awareness And Understanding Of The Relevant Issues, Promoting Practical Ways To Reduce Waste, Lower Carbon Emissions And Pollution And Strengthening Community Resilience; And(b) To Advance The Education Of The Public In Subjects Relating To Environmental Protection, Climate Change, Biodiversity, Sustainable Living, The Circular Economy And Related Environmental Practices, Through Workshops, Events, Training, Publications, And Practical Activities.
