Activities

Driffield Silver Band promotes music-making and public participation in the arts through brass band rehearsals, performances, concerts and community events. We provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, play and perform brass music, support musical education and cultural life, and serve Driffield and the surrounding East Yorkshire area.

Objects: To Advance, Improve, Develop And Maintain Public Education In, And Appreciation Of, The Art Of Brass Band Music Within The Community By1/ The Presentation Of Public Concerts And Recitals.2/ The Provision Of Structured Tuition, The Delivery Of Public Workshops, And Educational Outreach. 3/ A Progressive Structure Of Bands, Enabling Individuals Of All Ages And Abilities To Learn, Develop And Participate In Brass Banding.
