Objects: The Object Of The CIO Is, For The Public Benefit, To Relieve The Needs Of People Who Are Care-Experienced And At Risk Of Social Exclusion, In Particular But Not Exclusively By: (A) Promoting Social Inclusion And Equality Of Opportunity In Access To Sustainable Employment; (B) Providing Support, Advice And Advocacy To Care-Experienced People To Help Them Overcome Barriers To Accessing And Remaining In Employment; (C) Working In Partnership With Educational Institutions, Public Bodies, Charities, And Employers To Promote Inclusive Practices And Improve Understanding Of The Needs Of Care-Experienced People. For The Purposes Of This Object, ‘Care Experienced’ Refers To Individuals Who Have Been In The Care System At Any Point In Their Lives, Including Foster Care, Residential Care, And Kinship Care For The Purpose Of This Object, ‘At Risk Of Social Exclusion’ Means Being Excluded From Society, Or Parts Of Society (In Addition To Being Care-Experienced), As A Result Of One Or More Of The Following Factors: Unemployment; Financial Hardship; Poor Educational Or Skills Attainment; Relationship And Family Breakdown
