Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:3.1.1 For The Public Benefit, The Advancement Of The Art Of Dance, Literature, Music, Theatre And Visual Art By:(a) Making The Arts Accessible To More People;(b) Delivering Public Exhibitions, Workshops, Displays And Performances;(c) Developing And Improving The Public’s Knowledge, Understanding And Practice Of The Arts; And(d) Providing Education, Training And Other Support To Artists To Promote Artistic And Educational Excellence.3.1.2 The Advancement Of Education By:(a) Supporting Young People To Access Vocational Skills And Opportunities, Particularly In Relation To The Arts And Media;(b) Developing The Public’s Knowledge And Awareness Of The Arts; And(c) Providing Grants Or Other Charitable Support To Schools, Educational Organisations And Non-Profit Bodies To Support The General Education Of Children And Young People.3.1.3 The Prevention Or Relief Of Poverty As A Result Of Natural Disasters, Emergencies Or Humanitarian Hardship By Way Of Providing And Making Grants To Deliver Or Assist In The Provision Of Humanitarian Aid In Any Part Of The World By Provision Of Medical Aid, Food, Water, Shelter, Equipment, Education, Training, Clothing And Financial Support.3.1.4 The Promotion Of Social Inclusion For The Public Benefit By Preventing People From Becoming Socially Excluded, Relieving The Needs Of Those People Who Are Socially Excluded And Assisting Them To Integrate Into Society.for The Purpose Of This Clause 3.1.4, ‘Socially Excluded’ Means Being Excluded From Society, Or Part Of Society, As A Result Of Being A Member Of A Socially And Economically Deprived Community.3.1.5 The Promotion Of Community Participation In Healthy Recreation, In Particular But Not Exclusively In Persons From Disadvantaged Backgrounds, By:(a) Promoting Inclusive Access To Sport And Physical Activity, Particularly For Those Who Experience Inequality Or Barriers To Participation; And(b) Providing Funding And Support To Sports-Related Initiatives.3.1.6 To Promote For The Benefit Of The Public The Conservation, Protection And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment In Particular But Not Exclusively By Providing Funding And Support To Other Charities And Organisations.
