Activities
Prism LGBTQ provides a safe space for queer young people to meet, socialise and be themselves without fear of judgement from others. We also take the group on trips to various events, such as prides, free of charge to include everyone of any economic status. Our members also help organise events to fundraise or raise awareness for issues important to them and the community.
Objects: The Following Objects Are For The Benefit Of The Of The LGBTQ+ Young People In Coventry:-The Promotion Of Equality And Diversity For The Public Benefit By Advancing Education And Raising Awareness In Equality And Diversity, And The Elimination Of Discrimination On The Grounds Of Gender Identity Or Sexual Orientation; Andto Advance In Life And Help Young People Through The Provision Of A Youth Club To:(a) Provide Facilities For Recreational And Leisure Time Activities Provided In The Interest Of Social Welfare, Designed To Improve Their Conditions Of Life; And(b) To Provide Support And Activities Which Develop Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Mature And Responsible Individuals.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005] And [Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008].
