Activities

Building on the life and achievements of Alan Turing, develop the processes and establishments for the education of young people in emerging technologies, through the creation of the Alan Turing Centre in Sherborne, Dorset. Young people of all backgrounds will be able to access the resources provided by this centre.

Objects: To Advance The Education Of The Public In General In The Subjects Of Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Technology, Mathematics, Ethics And Emerging Technologies, In Particular Through The Study And Interpretation Of The Life, Scientific Achievements And Legacy Of Alan Turing And By:-Promoting Understanding And The Development Of Skills In The Subjects Noted Above By Communicating Information And By Commissioning Research And Publishing All Of The Useful; Results; Andestablishing, Maintaining And Operating A Centre Or Centres For Education And To Raise Public Awareness Of The Subjects Noted Above, Including Facilities For The Support Of Learning, Interpretation And The Communication Of Knowledge Based On The Subjects Noted Above.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable.
