Activities

We support children, young people, families, women and vulnerable adults in Coventry and Warwickshire. We relieve poverty and promote social inclusion through youth activities, mentoring, arts and creativity, education and training, wellbeing support, practical help, cultural activities, community cohesion work and support to access services and opportunities.

Objects: To Relieve Poverty Among People From Disadvantaged, Refugee, Asylumseeking And Migrant Communities And Their Dependants Living In Coventry And Warwickshire By Providing Advocacy, Welfare, Counselling And Education Advice. To Promote Social Inclusion For The Public Benefit By Preventing People From Becoming Socially Excluded, Relieving The Needs Of Those People Who Are Socially Excluded And Assisting Them To Integrate Into Society. For The Purpose Of This Clause ‘Socially Excluded’ Means Being Excluded From Society, Or Parts Of Society, As A Result Of One Or More Of The Following Factors: Financial Hardship; Old Age; Ill Health (Physical Or Mental); Discrimination On The Grounds Of Sex, Race, Disability; Poor Educational Or Skills Attainment; Crime (Either As A Victim Of Crime Or As An Offender Rehabilitating Into Society); Being A Member Of A Socially And Economically Deprived Community. To Help Young People, Especially But Not Exclusively Through Leisure Time Activities, So As To Develop Their Capabilities That They May Grow To Full Maturity As Individuals And Members Of Society. To Further Or Benefit The Residents Of Coventry And The Neighbourhood, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Residents And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents.
