Objects: 1) To Benefit The Community Of St Austell, The Province Of Cornwall And The Nation At Large, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Age, Disability, Nationality, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions, By Providing And Maintaining The St Austell Masonic Hall (?The Building?) And Associated Facilities For Use By Charitable, Community And Voluntary Organisations, With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Community.2) To Advance The Arts, Culture, Heritage, Science, Medicine Or Community Welfare By Direct Donation Or Through Established Charitable Organisations Or By Preserving, Maintaining And Improving The St Austell Masonic Hall, A Building Of Architectural, Historic And Community Significance, Originally Founded And Maintained Through The Support Of Peace And Harmony Lodge No. 496, And By Making IT Available For Use By Charitable, Community And Voluntary Groups, Including Other Masonic Lodges And Their Members, Insofar As Their Use Of The Hall Includes The Raising Of Funds For Charitable Purposes Or Contributes To The Preservation Of Our Masonic Heritage. Also To Provide Facilities For Welfare Events Such As Prostate Blood Testing And Provide A Facility For The Registration Of Property Title And Contents.3) In Furtherance Of These Objects, But Not Otherwise, The CIO May Apply Income From Investment Property Wholly To Its Charitable Purposes. 4) The CIO Will Be Managed By A Board Of Charity Trustees Whose Individual Appointments Shall Be As Set Out In Section 12 Here Below Whilst, Apart From Routine Management Matters Such As The Day-To-Day Use, Running And Maintenance Of The Building By The Charity Trustees, Any Major Decision Or Commitment In Respect Of The Building Shall Be Subject To The Members Of The CIO In A General Meeting Or A Meeting Called For That Purpose.
