Sarais Light Foundation advances research and awareness of Renal Medullary Carcinoma (RMC), sickle cell trait and related conditions. We raise funds, support and promote research, provide accessible information and awareness initiatives, and support individuals and families affected by RMC through signposting, peer connection and emotional support.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:1. To Advance Health And Save Lives By Funding, Supporting, And Promoting Research Into Renal Medullary Carcinoma (Rmc) And Conditions Related To The Sickle Cell Trait, Including Their Causes, Prevention, And Treatment, And By Publishing And Disseminating The Useful Results Of Such Research.2. To Advance Education And Promote Awareness And Understanding Of Rmc, The Sickle Cell Trait, And Related Health Conditions Among Medical Professionals, Patients, And The General Public, In Particular (But Not Exclusively) By Providing Information, Raising Awareness, And Organising Campaigns And Events.3. To Relieve Sickness And Preserve Health Among Individuals And Families Affected By Rmc And Related Conditions, In Particular (But Not Exclusively) By Offering Emotional Support, Facilitating Peer Connection, And Providing Signposting To Appropriate Services And Resources.
