Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:3.1 To Promote, For The Benefit Of The Public, Knowledge And Appreciation Of Chinese Culture, Heritage And Traditions, In Particular But Not Exclusively Through The Provision Of Public Festivals, Events, And Educational Programmes And Workshops;3.2 To Promote Social Inclusion For The Benefit Of The Public, By Working With People In Birmingham And Surrounding Areas Who Are Socially Excluded On The Grounds Of Their Ethnic Origin, Age, Disability, Ill Health, Poverty Or Other Personal Circumstances, In Particular Members Of The Chinese Community, To Relieve The Needs Of Such People And Assist Them To Integrate Into Society, In Particular But Not Exclusively By Promoting Community Cohesion, Both Within The Chinese Community And The Wider Public;
