Activities
We manage Clevedon Community Centre for the benefit of Clevedon people & the surrounding area, by providing facilities & organising local events. We cater for groups of all ages, offering opportunities for education, recreation, leisure activities, family events & shows. As well as a drop-in cafe we have a large hall with a licensed bar. Funds are from hirings, & profits go on staff & maintenance.
Objects: A) To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Clevedon And District (Including Postcode District Bs21) (Hereinafter Called "The Area Of Benefit") Without Distinction Of Sex Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants. B) To Promote Such Other Charitable Purposes According To The Laws Of England And Wales As The Trustees From Time To Time Determine.c) To Maintain And Manage Community Centres At Clevedon For Activities Promoted By The Association And Its Constituent Bodies And In Furtherance Of The Above Objects Or Any One Of Them As May By Law Be Deemed Charitable.
