**Objects:** THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY IN CARMARTHEN AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS, OR SUCH WIDER AREA AS MAY SEEM APPROPRIATE FROM TIME TO TIME, BY PROVIDING GRANTS, ITEMS AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY, AND IN PARTICULAR BY: (I) PROVIDING EMERGENCY FOOD SUPPLIES AND PRACTICAL ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN FINANCIAL CRISIS; (II) PROVIDING DEBT ADVICE, AND FINANCIAL EDUCATION TO INDIVIDUALS EXPERIENCING FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR DIFFICULTY; AND (III) SIGNPOSTING AND REFERRING INDIVIDUALS TO OTHER STATUTORY AND VOLUNTARY AGENCIES ABLE TO PROVIDE FURTHER SUPPORT.

**Activities:** The activities of the charity focus on the relief and prevention of poverty, the reduction of financial hardship, and the improvement of wellbeing and resilience for individuals and families experiencing financial crisis. The charity provides emergency food support and money advice and guidance to the most needy and vulnerable in the town of Carmarthen and the surrounding area.
