Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:to Relieve The Needs Of Persons Of All Ages Receiving Treatment For Disease Or Illness Affecting The Kidneys (Hereinafter Called Kidney Patients) Through-Out Lancashire And South Cumbria Areas Of England By:•providing Support And Advice To Their Families / Carers;•engaging With Renal Staff, Patients, Families, And Carers Directly To Understand The•challenges Faced And Ways In Which The Kpa Can Support Their Health And Wellbeing;•providing Opportunities For Kidney Patients And Their Relatives To Share Ideas Of Mutual Benefit;•providing Support And Practical Assistance For Kidney Patients And Their Families/carers According To Need;•promoting A Wider Knowledge And Understanding Of The Needs And Problems Of Kidney Patients To The Public And The Appropriate Authorities;•raising Funds For The Achievement Of The Objectives; And•to Do Any Such Things As Shall Further The Objectives Of The Association.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The Ciofor The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With Section 7 Of Thecharities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 And Section 2 Of The Charitiesact (Northern Ireland) 2008.
